Netherland Dwarfs
A descendant of the Polish rabbit, the Netherland Dwarf was introduced into the United States in the 1960s. They are a very popular breed due to their compact body type and a maximum weight of about two to two and a half pounds. They are the smallest of the domestic breeds commonly available in America. The average life span is seven to ten years for this colorful breed. They are very curious and have a lot of energy. Out of all our rabbits, our Blackwall is the most loyal and will not run away even when out of his pen. Every rabbit has their own personality and we cannot say which breed would make a better companion for you.
